Here's the schedule:

Saturday, April 21

1-2:30 p.m. TANGO TECHNIQUE FOR MEN AND WOMEN: Elegance, cadence, posture, musicality: rhythm and melody. Vital elements for a social dance.

3-4:30 p.m. 100% CADENCE (CADENCIA): A mystical classic milonguero movement that softens the general movements through the famous tango.

8:30-11:30 p.m. Milonga with performances by Oscar and Jesica

Sunday, April 22

1-2:30 p.m. HOW TO DANCE TANGO BETWEEN THE FIGURES. The figures do not mean tango. Among them there are musical movements that separate figures for efficiency in the organization of the dance.

3-4:30 p.m. VALS: REVIVING OLD MOVEMENTS. In the old times, the movements were realized organically. The chained movements are impressionable movements that decorate the vals and enhance the dance.

The price is $30 per class, with an early-bird discount price of $25 per class for registration and payment received by midnight on Sunday, April 15. The price for full-time students with ID is $20 per class.

Admission to the Saturday night milonga is $15, or FREE for those taking all four classes.

Here's some more information about Oscar and Jesica:

Oscar Casas grew up in Buenos Aires, breathing tango. His father was a milonguero who organized milongas in Parque Patricios, a tango barrio in Buenos Aires. Oscar is a well-known figure in the milongas of Buenos Aires, and his distinctive style is greatly admired by other milongueros.

Oscar’s improvisational dance reflects some current techniques of different styles of tango but never loses the spirit of the Old Guard. He believes that tango is “a feeling that is danced” and, for him, tango is endlessly fresh and fun

Jesica Arfenoni is the World Champion of Tango Pista 2013.
She does tours around the world teaching and performing in different countries such as Italy, Asia, England, USA, Germany, France, Indonesia, Bali, among many others.

She worked in Tango companies performing shows in Brazil and Argentina for several years and is also a Folklore dancer. Jesica was a juror in championships in Russia, Argentina, Chile among others.
Jesica exudes elegance, combining simplicity and complexity, and emphasizing the original tango essence.
